Anyhoo…a huge decision was made to discontinue VISION as a trilogy and publish as one book. Personally, I am elated about the change, because I have personally struggled about making three separate books, especially once the writing process started. Also, the really smart people locked me in a cell and forced me to articulate the genre I wanted this book to be. Long story short—it is a tough story to write due to the dynamics of age and the concept of immortality, among other things, but ultimately freedom was required to touch the extremes of storytelling and not be encumbered by the young age of the protagonist. Therefore, Layla will be a couple of years legal and that removes the pressure of what she faces in her unusual and sometimes dark challenges.

I want to thank the writers and communities who supported me unconditionally, especially the readers who validated me and helped me decide I wanted this more than air, a life dream, and pushed me forward. I love you, and thank you for receiving the stories from inside a girls head and accepting them with boundless enthusiasm.

The new book is titled…SOUL OF THE HEBRIDES!

This journey has been painful and ecstatic and really hard but the fog has lifted. We thought about abandoning this project in favor of some others in the hopper, but no one could part with Layla and Stuart and Abbey, and it is imperative to conclude the journey.
